Electronic waste were collected en masse at this year's Kenosha County Household Hazardous Waste Event, held May 2, 2015, at the Kenosha County Center. Kenosha County agreed to "pick up the tab" for all household electronic wastes and record numbers of recyclables were collected. See below for a full listing of waste totals:
Television Set Recycling: 30,842 lbs.
Incomplete Televisions: 79 lbs.
Console/Projection Televisions: 5,775 lbs.
Appliances: 10, 480 lbs.
Peripherals: 16,831 lbs.
Other: 4,164 lbs.
TOTAL POUNDS: 58,739 lbs.
*The waste handler certifies that the following shipment of materials was recycled in accordance with all applicable rederal, state, and local regulations.
