City Residents may dispose of grass clippings, brush, leaves and bulky waste at the Pearl Street Facility, Yout Street Facility or 19th Street Facility. The Pearl Street Facility accepts the following items for a fee: tires, microwaves, electronics, non-freon appliances, construction waste and concrete. Residents may also dispose of waste oil, oil filters and up to 6 gallons of antifreeze Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 3pm at the Public Works Equipment Maintenance Garage at 830 S Marquette St.

Beyond the Cart Recycling

For residents of the City of Racine, Caledonia, Elmwood Park, Mt. Pleasant, North Bay, Sturtevant and Wind Point: The Racine Household Hazardous Waste Collection Program encourages you to bring harmful chemicals from around the home to the permanent collection site. Open every 3rd Saturday: April-October at 6200 21st Street, west of Hwy 31, north of the former Sam’s Club.
